Your child will come to a safe, friendly, caring and open household. Your child will be given every opportunity to be involved in all types of learning and interactive activities. These could be anything from acting and role play, to cooking, arts and crafts, music or even outings to our own allotment, parks, libraries and local places of interest.
All activities support the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines set out by the government in September 2020
We are also a HYGGE accredited setting and take time to HYGGELIG weekly.
Weekly activities are planned and arranged to support these outcomes and to give your child the opportunity to interact with our local community.
We attend local parks and play areas both during the day, after school and in school holidays offering that chance to socialise and interact with unfamiliar children from other schools and settings.
T's Tots Childminding Service believe in equal opportunities and this is one of the range of policies held. We will never discriminate against staff, children or their families because of their Race, Religion, Origin, Colour or background. All children will be treated as equals whilst children's individual needs will be thoroughly catered for.
T's Tots are committed to keeping up-to-date with all areas of training and development and will take every opportunity to improve the service delivered by attending courses and workshops as and when available.
EYFS Introduction states: Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and age five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its own right. Good parenting and high quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards that all early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.
